Louis Oosthuizen, one of South Africa’s top golfers and the 2010 Open Championship winner, hails from the small town of Albertinia in the Western Cape. His determination to hone his athletic talents was evident from a young age, as he excelled in both tennis and golf before focusing on golf as his future career. However, it was in 2002 when Louis truly realised he could harness his golfing prowess, after playing a remarkable round of 57 (15 under par) at the Mossel Bay Golf Course. This momentous achievement fuelled his drive to succeed and when he founded his brand in 2009, he knew that 57 had to be included in its name.
